I had some serious problems with my arms when I first came in to see Dr. Doran. Before coming to Woodside Chiropractic I had been receiving treatment for six months for repetitive strain injury from a regular medical doctor, physical therapist, a bio feedback specialist, and an acupuncturist. None of which was able to give me anything but temporary relief of my symptoms. I had trouble cooking for myself, carrying things, or even holding a piece of pizza during a meal. Let's not even talk about typing. I was a serious pain and my life was pretty limited.

Over the course of working with Dr. Doran I have received significant healing for my condition. I was able to play guitar the other day for the first time in over a year. I also feel healthier than I've felt in a long time and am currently doing an intense data entry job that would have been unimaginable before. I am still healing throughout my body and have some challenges in my arms periodically, but nowhere near the level of pain of the level of difficulty I had before.

I feel better about myself and about my future thanks to Dr. Doran. I would go to him for any injury I received. No matter how "non back" related it might be. He's a wiz!

When I first came to Dr. Doran, I was limping with pain in my heels, I could hardly turn my head because my neck was so stiff, and I was in constant pain because the muscles between my shoulder blades were tremendously stiff.

After three months, I was able to walk without a limp. Each month the pain in my heels have gradually gone away. After six months, I was able to turn my head from left to right. I must say that this certainly is a plus when driving.

I find it amazing that I could have lived in that condition for so long. It feels SO good now!
 

Paulo

Paulo was running through a parking lot and was hit on the thigh by a person opening their car door. He received a huge bruise, but his mother didn't pay much attention at the time because as an active boy he got lots of bumps and bruises. Then he started basketball in the fall and he started complaining about the pain. This concerned his mother because he was not usually a complainer. He even asked her to take him to a doctor because it bothered him so much and it was affecting his performance on the court.

At the time his father was under Dr. Doran's care for his sciatica and was seeing such great results that his mother decided to bring Paulo to Dr. Doran too. The EMG showed some yellow areas of concern on the same side as his thigh injury. He started care the same day.

Also every Monday at Paulo's school they have a fitness day where they test the children's level of fitness. Paulo hated to go because they always had to run and he couldn't run well. But this time he showed improvement. Then one day he came to his mother and said "Mom! I'm not the last one any more!" He has been improving ever since. His last EMG showed no more yellow areas, and he has joined other activities he likes such as baseball and soccer. He still falls sometimes, as boys do, but there are no permanent injuries. He seems to bounce right back.

The track coach was watching the children running and noticed that Paulo had improved the most in his group. He asked Paulo to try out and he made the team! In two weeks, he ran representing his school for the first time! Everyone was cheering and he was so happy doing something he loves and doing it well.

Another added benefit of the treatment is that he doesn't have nightmares any more. He had been plagued by them in the past but he reports that they are completely gone now.

When I first came to your clinic, I felt that I was rapidly becoming decrepit since during the previous year or so I had become progressively less flexible and subject to muscle injury at the slightest effort. In particular, I had significant chronic muscle soreness about the kidney area. Finally, I had some tingling in my hands and numbness in my feet during vigorous walking.

At first I was very skeptical regarding the network chiropractic treatments because most of the treatments could only be described as light and subtle. However, after two months of treatments I've concluded that this is a very promising, if my mysterious, medical discipline, esp. for systemic types of problems such as I believe I was experiencing.

Overall, I feel that the treatments in conjunction with the stretching exercises you prescribed have helped me greatly. I feel much more flexible. The soreness above the kidney area is considerably improved. Circulation seems to have improved and I walk more naturally. I also want to mention an overall sense of "well-being" for which I think your treatments should be credited. I'm also sleeping much better, with less medication.

Thanks very much for your help and encouragement. It's a real pleasure to spend time with someone who clearly loves helping people reach their full potential - healing and otherwise.
 

A Grateful Patient

God works in mysterious way. This has been my recent experience. It all started when I was rear-ended, and through a series of coincidences, I ended up coming to Dr. Doran for treatment. To my amazement, I am having all types of healing experiences!

For example, a neck adjustment (which I've always been leery of) took away 85% of the horrendous neck pain I had been experiencing - and it's stayed away for the most part ... WOW!! Emotions, which I never would have expected from Chiropractic treatment, have leapt to the surface for me - very interesting! I'm certainly curious as to what my continued treatments with Dr. Doran will produce.

When I first brought my daughter to Dr. Doran, she was having a very difficult time. At 8 months she could not go to sleep on her own, she cried very often and for long periods of time. She very rarely napped and just seemed unhappy.

After two treatments from Dr. Doran, she napped for the first time by herself. One day she actually took two naps on her own. She is also sitting up for the first time, and my friends and family have noticed a great difference.
